INTRODUCTION TO TEC

TMSS Engineering College (TEC) is proud to be the first engineering college in North Bengal aiming to provide quality education at affordable cost of the meritorious and marginalized people. It follows liberal arts approach to education which nurtures ideas and gives new activity in the field of engineering. TMSS Engineering College is committed to inspiring young people to share our passion for engineering, and science. The college provides a congenial learning environment along with available modern facilities, interactive learning method, pursues applied field of research, fosters collaborations to produce and create standard engineer to meet national and global challenges. TMSS Engineering College (TEC) is affiliated by Rajshahi University in the year of 2015.

OBJECTIVE

With the increase of economic growth of the world the demand of skilled manpower is also increasing rapidly. Although there is a wide expansion of traditional system of education in our country, it can not face digital challenge of the 21st century. As a result demand for technical education is increasing day by day. So to provide excellent broad- based technical education to the students TMSS Engineering College committed to provide best quality learning experiences with comprehensive knowledge and skill based education necessary for the country and emphasis on their professional development in the field of Engineering.

BACKGROUND

This is an age of modern science and technology and we are in the 21st century. TMSS was established in the year of 1980’s as a Non-Government Development Organization with non-profit nature. It aims is family development through women empowerment and objective is to develop the socio- economic condition of poorest of the poor specially the women & poor people by implementation of grassroots decision and utilizing human & material and immaterial resources. TMSS gives highest priority and importance to Human Resources Development through   proper education & training, Quality health care service at affordable cost, creating opportunities and access to finance & economical activities, Human Rights establishment and environment improvement. TMSS has already established 28 educational institutes (General/ Medical/ Technical) for enhancing the demand of the world. TMSS has established TMSS Engineering College (TEC) for creating opportunities of meritorious to enhance in the field of Engineering.
